Advanced Neurological & Vestibular Rehabilitation.

The world confederation for physical therapy and the Australian Physiotherapy Association recognise neurological & vestibular rehabilitation as distinct specialist areas of physiotherapy.

Physiotherapists help with movement, exercise and physical wellbeing. If you have a neurological condition such as Stroke, Brain Injury, Concussion, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease or Dystonia it is important to seek advice from a physiotherapist with a strong interest in your condition. Also, if you are suffering from dizziness and/or problems with balance & mobility it is vital that you consult with a therapist who can assess and treat your condition correctly and as early as possible.

We are a team of Neurological Physiotherapists with experience in working with people with many types of common and rare neurological conditions and many disorders that cause dizziness and/or imbalance. In addition, we have a long track record of clinical teaching and research. Over this time, we have developed strong professional relationships with other clinical experts. We work closely with Medical consultants, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Neuropsychologists and can assist local Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Personal Trainers to optimise individualised physical training programs.

Since 2006 we have built an expert team of therapists who have extensive experience in neurological & vestibular rehabilitation. Our staff have completed extensive training in this specialist field and are committed to highest standards of care and support to our patients. We have developed numerous professional development courses, in addition to the development of university post-graduate qualifications in Neurological Physiotherapy. We continue involved in important clinical research, and we continue to advocate strongly for improved quality of life for people with neurological and vestibular conditions.

We are committed to advancing the practice of neurological and vestibular rehabilitation in every possible way.

This is our mission.

This is what we teach.

This is what we research.

This is what we do!
