Congratulations to 3 of our Senior Physiotherapists at Advanced Neuro Rehab.
Nicole Simmons (Senior Lead Physiotherapist), Eileen Ting & Joanne Howie (Senior Physiotherapists) all recently completed their Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy) at Flinders University. This is a fantastic achievement as it involved 3+ years of extra study, clinical training and clinical research projects – all while working close to full-time in our clinic!
The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and World Congress for Physical Therapy recognize Neurological Physiotherapy as an important specialist area. We understand how important this specialization process is to improve outcomes for our patients & to drive excellence within our profession.
Nicole, Eileen & Joanne have now been recognized by the APA in 2018 as titled ‘Neurological Physiotherapists’. The decision to return to university and put in years of extra study shows enormous commitment. We are very proud to have such a highly qualified group of Neurological Physiotherapists who have the knowledge and skills to assist people with a wide range of neurological conditions. This is just another reason why Advanced Neuro Rehab remain leaders in Neurological & Vestibular Rehabilitation in South Australia!
