Spring Talks by Dr James McLoughlin
It has been a busy springtime for talks and presentations. James has been invited to give a number of education talks over the past 3 months to patients, carers and health professionals. It’s great to have the opportunity to share some of the key clinical and research developments that we have been involved with at JMNP. These talks have included;
‘Therapeutic targets to manage mobility and fatigue in people with Multiple Sclerosis’ at the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association Congress
‘Neurophysiotherapy evidence – hot topics and future priorities’ Teleconference for Country Health SA .
‘A Proactive Approach to Fatigue, Balance and Mobility for People with MS’ in addition to a very informative presentation by Lauren Stribley, Accredited Practising Dietitian – ‘Maximising your health: Healthy eating for MS’ at the MS Society Living Well with MS Forum
‘Pain & Parkinson’s’ – Information session at ParkinsonsSA in November
In 2016 we are planning to provide some community information sessions on a number of important issues including; Dizziness & Anxiety, Neuroplasticity & Stroke Recovery and Exercise for Neuroprotection. Keep an eye out for these on the courses/presentations page on our website.
